Louisa Hopper is an English artist.

Working in multiple medias to make paintings, prints, apparel & tattoo art in the style of  scientific and naturalist illustrations.

Currently working from her  private tattoo studio in the heart of Brighton. uk. 2016 to present.

Lou  is a self taught artist, drawing inspiration from artists such as John James Audubon, Jhon Gould, marianne North, Peter Paul Ruben, Walton Ford & other early botanical artists.

 

A keen naturalist born 1987 in the remote & wild Devonshire countryside.

Lou's early education includes the study of  Animal behaviour & science's at Bicton collage.

Tattoo apprenticeship completed in 2012 in the historical city of Exeter. 

In 2013 Lou moved to London to build on her experience.

shortly after Louisa's career expanded to include television work.
